Boatswain
Reporting to:
The Boatswain reports to the Chief Mate
Backup:
The Chief Mate will approve a suitable backup arrangement for periods of absence.
Authority:
To give recommendations and suggestions to officers, ratings and other persons on board in pursuance of his duties. Instructing and training junior crew members.
Qualifications:
STCW 2020 Reg. A-II/5, valid health certificate,all certificates STCW 2020 as applicable.
Boatswain
He is repsonsible for carrying out deck, cargo gear and accommodation maintenance and assistance to the Safety and Ship Security officers.
