Ordinary Seaman

Reporting to:

The Ordinary Seaman reports to the Watch Officer and the Boatswain, as applicable.

Backup:

The Chief Mate will approve a suitable backup arrangement for periods of absence.

Authority:

To give recommendations and suggestions to officers, ratings and other persons on board in pursuance of his duties..

Qualifications:

STCW 2020 Reg. A-II/4, valid health certificate,all certificates STCW 2020 as applicable.

He is repsonsible for carrying out deck maintenance tasks and standing watches on the navigating bridge.
