Cook
Reporting to:
The Cook reports to the Master and Chief Mate.
Backup:
The Master will approve a suitable backup arrangement for periods of absence.
Authority:
To give recommendations and suggestions to officers, ratings and other persons on board in pursuance of his duties.
Qualifications:
MLC regulation 3.2, valid health certificate,all certificates STCW 2020 as applicable.
Cook
He is repsonsible for proper preparation of the meals under strict compliance with sanitary and hygiene requirements. The Cook is planning the menue and manages and supervises the stock for provision, utility stores etc. The Cook needs to ensure complicance to safety, security, drug and alcohol and environment protection procedures.
